Sundial Group support Oxfam Unwrapped this Christmas
14 Dec 2007
This year, instead of designing, printing and purchasing Corporate Christmas cards and presents, we have built a classroom, sponsored the training of teachers and acquired textbooks, desks and chairs through Oxfam for a developing country.
‘Oxfam is a development, relief, and campaigning organisation that works with others to overcome poverty and suffering around the world.' Our Christmas gift this year will go towards helping children and adults have a better chance at a good education.
More than 80 million children in the developing world are going without the basic education that will help them to live a complete and rewarding lifestyle. By helping to invest in the future of schools and communities worldwide, Sundial Group promotes our commitment to always respect others and support their opportunity to develop, regardless of where they live.
Marketing Director Jo Chudley said that, "It is important to us, especially at this time of year, to help those less fortunate than ourselves. With an increasing number of clients unable to accept corporate gifts, this seemed like the perfect alternative. It is very rewarding to be able to give a gift that will change someone's life.
